GREEN ESSENTIALS
Local Habit - Organic Food & Craft Beer
Our goal is to create a community in San Diego based around local organic produce, meats, and craft brewed beers. We will showcase the amazing produce from local organic farmers and award winning craft brews found right in San Diego’s backyard.
We bring in the best wild and sustainably caught local seafood and we make it taste amazing! Our menu is constantly changing, but you'll find things like halibut, lobster, scallops, oysters, sardines, sea urchin and other delicious catch from our waters. We serve grass-fed California meats and numerous vegetarian dishes, and can adapt many dishes to your preferences and diet. Enjoy your food with one of San Diego's award winning craft beers or a bottle of California wine in our creatively designed and hip 30th Street restaurant.
The Green Chamber of San Diego County empowers businesses to grow through environmentally friendly, sustainable practices that contribute to our region’s economy and ecology. We help both established and emerging companies improve operational efficiencies, tap into unexplored markets and explore new opportunities.
The mission of New Leaf Paper is to be the leading national source for environmentally responsible, economically sound paper. We supply paper with the greatest environmental benefit while meeting the business needs of our customers. Our goal is to inspire — through our success — a fundamental shift toward environmental responsibility in the paper industry.
Conservatree initiated the Environmental Paper Network to create what has now become a global collaboration of environmental groups working on paper issues.
We are SAN DIEGO ROOTS Sustainable Food Project, a network of citizens, farmers, chefs, gardeners, teachers, and students working to encourage the growth and consumption of regional food. From farm to fork, we focus awareness and work toward a more ecologically sound, economically viable and socially just food system in San Diego.
